Ohau We LOVE Winter
Terms and Conditions (“Terms”)
Last updated: July 2018
Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before registering for the Rhino’s Ski Shack OHAU School Trip (the “Event”) operated by Rhino’s Ski Shack (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Event is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
Fees & Payments
Payment to attend the event must be made via bank transfer alongside your registration to secure your booking, unless otherwise agreed with Rhino’s Ski Shack. If you fail to submit payment, your registration and booking is deemed incomplete, and therefore invalid. For all payment details and instructions, please refer to www.rhinosskishack.com/ohau-2018
Event Cancellations and Postponements
Whilst every effort will be made to run all advertised events, we reserve the right to cancel the event due to low enrolment or other circumstances which would make the event unviable. If we cancel an event, attendees will be offered a full refund, less the cost of any pre-organised non-refundable inclusions, i.e. event hoodie.
Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of the event, attendees will have the option to either receive a refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.
We will endeavour to notify attendees as soon as practicable of cancellations and postponements and will not be liable for any expenses incurred by attendees as a result of the cancellations and/or postponements.
Under no circumstances will we be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature, forces or causes beyond its reasonable control including without limitation fires, flood, storms, explosion, earthquakes, other acts of God or war or in the case of webinars, technical failures.
Once a completed registration form has been received, any cancellation must be made in writing by emailing email@example.com.
For cancellations more than 30 days prior to the event:
If cancellation of registration is received more than 30 working days prior to the start date of the event, a full refund of all payments will be given. All refund requests must be made by the attendee and must include the name of the attendee and the bank account details the payment is to be refunded to.
For cancellations 11- 29 days prior to the event:
If cancellation of registration is received 11-29 days or less prior to the start of the event, a maximum of up to 50% of the registration fee will be refunded, but the final refund total is based on all non-refundable inclusions (i.e. event hoodie, bus transfer, administration).
For cancellations 10 or less days prior to an event:
If cancellation of registration is received 10 days or less prior to the start of the event, or in the case of registered non-attendees, the registration fee will be payable in full and no refunds given.
It is our policy where there are circumstances beyond attendees control that prevent them from attending an event, i.e. disruption to travel arrangements, sickness, injury etc., not to refund the registration fee but to provide all available inclusions (i.e. event hoodie) where possible. Only in exceptional circumstances will refunds be considered such as a local state of emergency requiring essential staff to remain in that area to respond to the emergency. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org giving full details.
However, if a registered person is unable to attend a substitute may be sent at no extra cost. Exceptions to this may occur in relation to specific guests whom we deem unacceptable. It is your responsibility to give us all replacement guest details, and you are still liable for all associated costs until the new attendee has been in touch with us and formally accepted their place as your substitute. All booking conditions are to be transferred to the substitute, but it is your responsibility to receive your registration fee compensation from the substitute attendee
Please note that these above policies apply to all Rhino’s Ski Shack events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.
Upon completion of your registration for this event, you hereby release, forever discharge and agree to hold harmless Rhino’s Ski Shack, all staff, and volunteers thereof from any and all liability, claims or demands for personal injury, sickness or death, as well as property damage and expenses, of any nature whatsoever which may be incurred by the participant that occur while said participant is participating in the above described trip or activity.
